There seems to be a buzz (excuse the pun) in the skincare industry at the moment around honey. Therapi launched late last year (2013) and is becoming increasingly popular. Therapi offers timeless organic skincare which is 100% natural and certified by the Soil Association.
Therapi focuses on the therapeutic benefits of honey, propolis and bioactive plant extracts to nourish the skin. Therapi's products feel like they are of exceptional quality.
Honey has been used for thousands of years and has recently become a trend in the beauty industry with many brands going back to basics by using amazing ingredients like honey. I love Therapi and would like to add that they give 5% of their profits to bee conservation projects which I think is amazing.
Therapi currently has three lines to suit different skin types:
Rose Otto - for normal to dry skin types
Orange Blossom - for normal skin types
Lemon Myrtle - for oily to combination skin types
This review is for the Rose Otto Nourishing Honey Gel Cleanser.

Results and review
This is very mild lightly foaming gel cleanser. As you would imagine this smells like honey and roses and it contains an amazing amount of organic honey at 11%. This feels completely non drying and does not strip the skin of its natural oils thus preserving its acid mantle. It actually looks like honey as well.
It contains lots of beneficial organic ingredients such as honey which is a natural humectant. Honey helps to retain moisture in the skin, act as an anti inflammatory, diminish redness and irritation. It also has anti bacterial properties. It is highly nutritious containing many vitamins and minerals which help to deeply nourish the skin.
This cleanser also contains the antioxidant power house, seabuckthorn. It also contains soothing aloe vera and both of these ingredients help to nourish and repair the skin.
It contains a wonderful organic essential oil blend which works perfectly with the natural aroma of the large percentage of organic honey in this cleanser. The organic essential oil blend consists of rose otto, rose geranium, bergamot and cedar wood which makes for a beautiful floral and refreshing scent.
In my routine I have been using this as my morning cleanser and it always helps get rid of redness. I would recommend this for those with sensitive skin. After each use my skin is always refreshed, hydrated and never stripped.
I absolutely adore the packaging it looks very luxurious with its white glass bottle.
At £25 for 100ml I think this is very reasonably priced especially considering all the beneficial and good quality organic ingredients it contains. I am going to give it a HGB rating of 4 as I just wish it had a tad stronger smell of roses, other than that I can't fault it.
HGB Green Leaf Rating
